Parts were clearly marked. Directions fairly clear. But I was ready to return it because there was one step in the assembly I couldn't get. I even used a sledge hammer. My neighbor used to work in a furniture store and he explained how the cam locks worked. That was definitely not in the directions and they are cute little gadgets once you understand them. The rest was fairly easy. I did end up with two extra dowels, but maybe they're not important.It was cheap and feels and looks that way. The directions for assembly were confusing though I've done this sort of thing a lot. Stick with IkeaThe nightstand is sturdy and the quality is fine. However it is a very dark gray, not the light lime washed as pictured. Very disappointed as I wanted it to blend with other bedroom furniture. I will use it elsewhere in the house. Easy to put together. If you want a light colored nightstand .. do not buy this.I got these to match my IKEA Hemnes Dresser, because IKEA was sold out of their nightstands….I received both of my nightstands damaged. I will be sending them backTried and tried but could not get the drawer to work, so now it won't open.The actual color is considerably darker than what is illustrated. There is a picture on the side of the box that you would think that's what is inside. You pull a board out and lay it on the picture and the variance is remarkably different.
