I wanted a small wall bookshelf to hold my journals and this did the trick (got the 16 in). I was worried that it might start wobbling since it only had two screws to latch onto once you put it on the wall (also I had a bunch of journals), but so far so good! It hasn't collapsed or anything. It's not wobbling and all.This came with no instructions by the way so I had to figure it out myself (it just came with the shelf + screws no box or anything), but it was pretty self explanatory for the most part (4 same length screws for the shelf, two wooden sticks to latch the two columns in place, then the two longest ones and the plastic nail mold thing for the wall). If the two columns of the shelf wobbles--I figured that's because the screws haven't been screwed enough. Once they were screwed well they didn't wobble at all. I help my dad put on wall mounts for our TVs every once in a while and it's kind of how I figured which screw/plastic mold thingy would go where. I've no idea what their names are but I just knew what to do with them if I looked at them visually haha.It was pretty quick to do if you had a drill. Doing it manually with a screwdriver would notttt be a good choice. Anywho, me and my husband are planning to purchase another one of these since they look aesthetically minimalistic. I like it!The shelf is great but the screws they provide are total garbage. I had one literally snap in half while installing.I almost didn’t buy this little gem of a shelf. So glad I did!! It is PERFECT for my AirBNB! It’s solid, quality hard wood and smells like it. It was very easy to put together with only having 2 screws. I personally purchased plastic toggle butterly anchors since I didn’t have enough studs to keep this shelf in place with the weight I needed it to hold and maintain. Worked great. It’s beautiful. I’m happy.This shelf is very simple, but it is also very clean looking with all of the fasteners hidden in the back. The wood looks great without any noticeable imperfections, and the same goes for the pre-drilled holes. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure you tighten down the screws very tight, but not too tight as to strip the holes, so that the sides are sure to be straight. I ended up swapping the two sides because one was at a very slight angle, but after doing so it was all nice and square. Overall a very nice produce for what it is and I may end up getting more in the darker color.This is a nice evenly stained shelf. Looks great on my wall and is very sturdy. When put together the seams even matched; that's a rarity when a floating shelf is one that requires user to put it together in lieu of one that comes in one piece. I would suggest that a drill be used to put in the screws since it is hard by hand to do it. Overall, this is a great buy.Soft wood but still sturdy enough to hold a 20lb cat! This was a much cheaper alternative than buying real cat wall furniture. I hate real cat trees and think they look super tacky and take up so much space, so I searched the internet for cat wall ideas. This was perfect! I made sure to use dry wall screws and please be sure you’re lining up the holes right! I jumped the gun and didn’t realize I screwed the holes incorrectly (hole side must face the wall!).I lined it the shelves with some grass turf so kitty doesn’t slip :)I added this to the wall near where I sit on my couch. I always had a big messy pile of books, notebooks and cookbooks near or on my couch. Now they are all neatly organized within easy reach-looks cozy and intelligent. I worried when I first saw the size if a) my bigger books would fit and b) if it would hold the weight if it was full. And the answer is YES and YES! Good job HOMWOO!I ordered two of these in “natural” and they are completely different colors. I wanted to use these on the same wall together, but I’m afraid it will look like a mistake as if I accidentally ordered two different types of wood. Would love a replacement to match either of these (I’m really not picky) so I can actually use them.
