I was expecting a rug similar to the one I had but this rug is tiny. My own fault for not looking at the dimensions carefully but terrible value for 30 bucks.Absorbs water but it will stain your floorMe gusto muchoEasy to wash, super absorbent. Love it! It’s the best bath mat I’ve ever hadThis rug is absorbent for sure and a nice size for use in not just a bath setting. This one has these "short noodle" like fibers that make up the surface..think shag length. The back feels like it has something which helps it kind of lay in place, who knows, might just be the way the weave is! One thing to note is that the "noodles are pretty deep and ultimately you are going to have stuff down in between them that I don't know will ever wash out..lint balls, hair, etc. I do think could be priced a bit cheaperI wanted a rug to replace the towel that my elderly relative puts on the floor at the sink in the bathroom. It's a trip-and-fall hazard that I've been fighting about with him for a long time. This rug stays firmly in place because of the backing, which is what I was looking for. The chemille isn't loops -- they're thick, rounded bits of material that stick up. I'm hoping that doesn't make it difficult for him to move his walker onto and off the mat. Shorter shag would probably work better. But I hope this works, as I'm tired of fighting about the towel!Good sized bathroom mat is great for my bathroom. It feels very nice to my bare feet and it is very soft. I like that it has a non-slip backing which is so important on a smooth bathroom floor. The grey stripe version looks very nice to me.The rug seems well constructed with good stitching and materials. I expect it will hold up fine. Upon taking it out of the package it had no discernible odor to me. So many items have what I think of as a manufacturing smell making this a plus in my opinion.If you have an average or larger bathroom the 35X24 size of this bath mat should give you a nice place to stand. Happily it just fits in my bathroom that is on the smaller side of average. I like how it feels and look and is made. I'm very pleased with this mat so I'm giving it 5 stars.Lovely bathmat with a luxurious thickness that is surprisingly absorbent, but a pleasing future that not all include in my experience. A longer size is an exceptionally satisfying feature as the area outside smaller rugs doesn't provide the water absorption as this rug most def does!I hope the picture I included shows the visual effect described as "stripes"? It is just in the way the loops are provided in, not a real "stripe"? I just wanted to mention. Meets all I wished for in a bath rug, exceptionally pleased!
