I have had this desk since May 2021 (It is September 2022 now) and it really has held up quite nicely. I will say when I initially received it I found that the desktop had a small dent in it, likely from shipping. Luckily this was on the side of the desk where the cross support is so it really doesn't affect anything. It is very slim so it fits nicely in tight spaces. My main downside would probably be that you cannot change what side the shelving unit is attached onto. Unless I simply could not figure it out, but I have moved since this purchase and had to take the desk apart to fit it in my car and when I went to put it together again I wanted to change the side that the shelves would be on due to the layout of the room it was going in. However I was unable to since there are specific holes that the cross supports have to fit into. Maybe if I would have completely removed the table top from the legs and checked where each of the different bolts had to fit I might have been able to figure something out but in the end it really wasn't worth the effort (especially since looking at the image again, my shelves are on the right whereas the image has them on the left).
