This bathmat filled about 99% of the requirements we identified. The 1% that it didn't was expected and won't be held against the product itself. We have 1 shower in our house and it gets used frequently and often. (Is that redundant? I don't feel like it is, but if it is, I apologize.) As such, our previous bathmat would sometimes soak through onto the floor. It wasn't a big deal with the linoleum below it, but it just felt weird if you were the 2nd or 3rd shower in a row and had to stand on a soaking wet bathmat after the fact. (Or before the fact, if you were waiting to get in.) The absorbency on this product mostly overcomes that shortcoming. There is still a bit of moisture to be felt if the showers are done in rapid succession, but with a 10 - 15 minute space between, it works fantastically.Cleaning is super easy, just take it outside, hose it down, and allow to dry in the sun! Easy peasy lemon squeezy. The style is a modern look that probably goes well in many (most?) bathrooms across the country these days. However, we live in South Alabama and modern in this part of the country means indoor plumbing and wiring hidden inside the walls. A few more options for styles would be appreciated beyond just the colors available. I'm no marketing guru, but it seems like there is a niche here that needs to be filled. Finally, the only minor complaint. We wish it were available in larger sizes. Again, living in South Alabama, our bathroom is rather large and a bit more coverage in front of the entirety of the shower door would have been great. It's not a deal breaker by any stretch of the imagination and the bathmat is still an amazing product and value.I have purchased and used bath mats that claim to be absorbent, non-slip, and easy to clean. All of them have failed on one or more of those claims except this one. This mat has a rubber instead of a “non-slip” coating making it even more non-slip. The mat does a fairly good job of absorbing water, but due to the low profile nature of the mat, your feet is still a little damp but not dripping wet. Comfort is okay, but again due to the low profile, does not provide a cushioned step. I do not need to be stepping on a pillow everytime I get out of the shower. The mat simply works as intended and does a better job than other mats I have tried. My husband has mobility issues (uses an indoor walker and wheelchair). I needed a bath floor mat that would stick to the vinyl flooring, absorb water well, yet be slim enough for the walker and wheelchair to glide over it without causing any worry that the mat would bunch up and become a tripping hazzard or be difficult for the wheelchair to glide over it. This mat works wonderfully. It is secure on the floor, absorbs water well and my husband feels stable while standing on it in his bare feet. I would recommend this bath mat to anyone looking for a good bath mat, but especially for anyone with balance/mobility issues who is considered a fall risk. I do wish this company made a larger size mat, but the mat itself is great.Bthroom rugs are a challenge. Thick, rubber-backed ones seem nice but they move around, don't stay flat, and can't be washed easily. The edges curl and people trip on them. After a lifetime of bad bathroom rugs, this one is different and solves many of those problems. First off, it is thin. You don't trip on it. It lies flat and it's edges don't curl. Despite the fact it's thin, it is still pretty comfortable to step on. It has some give. The material holds its color and doesn't absorb spills. Spots wash off easlily with a sponge and warm water and mild soap. My floor has a pattern of small squares in varies shades of light brown, and the flowing shapes on the rug blend in beautifully.Last but not least, you can cut it down to fit your space. THe large one I bought was perfect for near the tub but the far edge hit the base of the toilet. A few snips and it lies perfectly in the available space.I am writing this review because this is the first time I have actaully liked a bathroom rug. This mat is very absorbent. We use it to help my dog with traction on the porcelain tile when stepping up into the kitchen. It doesn’t slip. The only criticism I have is that it still has stains after cleaning. Doesn’t seem to get clean and does take a long time to air dry. The price was very reasonable. Perhaps a darker color would work betterEasy to wipe down and it’s not real thick but surprisingly very absorbent. It would go great for a spot that needs a rug not to catch on the door. The new rug smell is very apparent when you first get it but then goes away. I would buy another if and when I need it.My only complaint is thickness, I do wish it had a bit more cushion to itI’ve always had carpets in my restroom but they would stay wet. This one dries quickly, it’s super easy to clean and it’s the perfect size for my restroom! I bought 2 of them! Will be buying more for my other restrooms too! Even the color matches everything in my restroom!
