The metal post are bent, and cause the shelves to lean up or down. Also did not receive enough supplies to instal on dry wall. The length is not separated enough to be on the studs, even with the long shelves.I bought 2 sets of shelves that installed perfectly. Horizontal and flush to the wall. The 3rd ordered later was terrible. There was no compression to stop the shelf falling out and the bracket angled downwards so things slid off.Got a refund with no question but the M3 drywall fittings are not the easiest to install or remove.I absolutely love how my shelves look. Installing was pretty easy...straight forward. The first shelf I installed is very sturdy, however my second shelf leans slightly. I was surprised that I was able to add a little more weight than instructed. Overall I love the esthetics!These look amazing in our guest bathroom. Love the color. Not deep shelves, so great for tight places.The "wood" did have 1 small chip in the front, but nothing a little marker can't fix. They are pretty sturdy. The install was......... interesting. Now that I know what I'm doing, it's not bad! Have never used this type of mounting system before. Found it difficult and ridiculous at first. However, after doing a few.... it isn't bad at all. Really helps with the sturdiness. Very happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend!!Perfect for our needs. Beautiful!I like the mounting system. Easy, except that the metal bracket is not wide enough to be mounted on studs. A standard home has wall studs 16" apart. This bracket has screw holes 14" apart, so it's not possible to mount on two studs. Nonetheless it is not designed to hold heavy weight so mounting to the drywall is probably sufficient. My bigger problem is with the wood quality. The top piece has several very noticable defects, which were just covered with a glob of dark stain which is also very noticable. Also the two pieces are very different colors. One is way darker than the other. They should be the same color. The material also doesn't really have any coating on it, such as a clear coat. So even barely touching it will cause marks which stick into the porous surface. I recommend spraying with a clear coat prior to use. It's cheap, and it looks cheap. But not the worst thing ever. Set expectations low. Many products at the hardware store are $100-300, so you get what you pay for I guess.I love them. They are held up by 5 screws, so I don't have any worries that they will fall. They are a beautiful, rich walnut color. Just what I was looking for.
